Pear is always looking for highly-qualified leadership coaches to partner with and present to our clients.

Clients choose you based not only on your background and skills, but your personality, style and chemistry as well.
  • Building relationships with our coaches is important to us. We keep you on our roster and reach out to you whenever we have an opportunity we think you'd be a great fit for.
  • We do not require you to share your client list or stop working with other coaching companies. Your clients are your clients, and our clients are our clients (that we are happy to present you for if it makes sense).
  • We value transparency and our partnership. We're with you the entire way through each assignment and will work together if you ever have any questions or concerns about anything.
  • Our new B2C (coach matchmaking) model allows us to find potential new clients for you at your pricing, using your own coaching process, without the hassle of marketing and sales.
  • There is never any cost or fee to be on our roster.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR BEING ONBOARDED AS A PEAR COACH?

You’ll first be asked to fill out a form that generally details your skills and experience. Once reviewed, we will set up an introductory call between you and a Pear Specialist to discuss your background and coaching philosophy in more depth. We’ll then review your references. If selected for an assignment, Pear will hold an Orientation call with you where the details are fully discussed and any remaining questions you have about coaching for Pear are answered. We make sure we are completely aligned before you get started on your engagement.

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF ME AS A PEAR COACH?

Our common goal should be the same: results. We also require alignment with our processes. As we promise to our clients, we expect our coaches to balance transparency with confidentiality. We will ask you for regular high-level updates on how the engagement is progressing, and may request your participation in check-in calls if the client requests. Always reach out to Pear if you have any questions or concerns during the engagement.

WHAT KINDS OF LEADERS DOES PEAR SPECIALIZE IN?

We specialize in one-on-one coaching, and do most of our work with high-potential, new and emerging leaders, as well as millennial leaders. We also work with seasoned leaders, all the way through the C-Suite. In addition, we are proud to successfully service leaders who may be facing challenges in the workplace related to diversity (cultural, sexual orientation, etc.).

HOW LONG ARE PEAR COACHING ENGAGEMENTS?

All of our coaching engagements are customizable, but typically range in length from three months to a year, with the average engagement lasting approximately 6 months. We offer packages by the number of sessions, and there are typically two sessions per month.

DO YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN PRESENTING ME FOR AN ASSIGNMENT?

Of course! If we have an opportunity we think you’d be an excellent fit for, we’ll reach out to you to make sure you’re interested and available to take on the engagement.

ARE PEAR COACHES EMPLOYEES OR CONTRACTORS?

Pear Coaches are independent contractors and will receive a 1099 each year. When you become an approved Pear Coach, you will be added to our roster (database). You will be asked to sign a contract for each assignment you are selected for, and there is no minimum or maximum number of assignments you may be selected for.
